Alayla THE FIGHTER
Alayla was only 24 when she passed away in May of 2018. She was so strong, so we called her "THE FIGHTER". Not a day goes by that we don't miss her...
She left behind 2 daughters ages 6 and 8. She had a good fight. She went through such a rough 20 months, in and out of the hospital (more in then out). Her youngest daughter used to call the hospital "Mamma's hospital." Every second weekend when I had the girls I would bring them to see their mamma. My routine for the 20 months was work, go visit, sleep, then do it all over again. I would not change a thing. She was so tough to go through everything she encountered, if it wasn't the big pills it was many needles, or trips to the ICU (scary times). The staff were great as they let me stay the night with her sometimes to be there for support. She was so special she would make us laugh instead of us trying to make her smile . She was always a joy to be around even if she was having a rough day.
The girls miss her dearly but we have lots of pictures and memories we will always treasure.
