Trapeze Group has being walking in Light The Night for 4 years now, they walk to honour the memory of their colleague Vicki who lost her life to Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2017.

Vicki is described by a colleague as someone who inspires! Building a culture to be proud of at Trapeze was important to Vicki and by continuing to participate in Light The Night together as colleagues and friends, the team feels that they are able to walk in memory of Vicki as well as in tribute.

There is a sense of fulfillment when they participate, they see the walk as a wonderful mechanism to get involved and stay involved in the quest to find a cure for blood cancer. As a Corporate participant, the walk also gives them a platform for team building and togetherness, again always focusing on building a strong culture for their work family. Even though there are different departments and staff are spread across two countries, this is an initiative that they share with the whole organizations. Mentorships have even formed from Trapeze’s participation in this event because when everyone is walking together, barriers break down and a supportive culture really takes precedent.

Walking in Light The Night is Trapeze’s way of giving back and showing their support <3
