I have participated in Light The Night for over 5 years now, I first joined in 2011 after my first cycle of treatment for Multiple Myeloma. After being being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma I am now navigating life after cancer and find that my life is much more simple and rewarding.

I was recently able to achieve the $5,000 fundraising milestone and I'm grateful for achieving this after reaching out to so many family, friends and business associates for their support.

Light The Night has become an important event for me filled with magic, our symbolically coloured lanterns and sharing the experience with thousands of people. It's important for people to be involved in these events because chances are everyone will know someone affected by a blood cancer in their lifetime.

Do you have a story to tell?

As a supporter, in memory, or as a survivor… share with others why you are helping end blood cancers by participating in a Light the Night Walk
