We walk to remember and to light the night for lymphoma!

My dad is a pancreatic cancer survivor...he is now doing palliative chemo for tcel lymphoma....my dad is tougher than nails - while his cancer will never go into remission, my dad has not stopped fighting the cancer. Every Wednesday treatment he puts on his armour of God, brings his newspaper and one of his granddaughters in his thoughts. During his treatment he visualizes speaking with his granddaughter Charlotte who’s giving him strength to get threw the ordeal. Whenever he can he facetimes anyone of his 5 grandchildren who all love their grandpa to bits and vis versa. You can always tell when he’s talking to one of the grandkids - his fabulous smile is just a little bit bigger than usual

My dad never complains about his treatments or the days following. He’s always willing to sit outside on his swing and share stories of days gone by, or make plans for future trips or celebrations.

Cancer won’t dappen my dads spirits but it has made him a bit softer when showing his emotions. If your blessed to know my dad, you then know he will always be your biggest supporter....always wants to know about your life and very rarely speaks about himself.

We are walking for my dad and for Dr. Toupin who has been a miracle for my dad. We want her to be able to continue to do amazing work for her patients and to be a brite light to other patients and families. And we walk for those who can’t walk.
